Personal Information Gathered by Funsherpa

Funsherpa endeavors to facilitate your use of our site and to provide you with personalized services, interactive communications and online shopping ease.  In order to better serve you, Funsherpa collects three types of information: (1) Information You Provide, (2) Information Automatically Collected and (3) E-mail Communications.  We will not collect information about consumers who browse this website, except as set forth below, without notifying you.

1. Information You Provide.

Personally identifiable information is collected by Funsherpa each time a user opens an account and/or books a service.  Personally identifiable information includes your name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card information or other similar account information, passwords and any other information that you may volunteer.  Funsherpa also may collect the personally identifiable information of third parties who are the recipients of our services.  We use a third party payment processing vendor and will not store your credit card information.

Limiting the Use of Your Personally Identifiable Information

Funsherpa is committed to taking reasonable steps to safeguard your personally identifiable information.  For example, when an order is placed online, secure online payments processing technology is used to collect your financial information.  Additionally, only employees of Funsherpa responsible for marketing and customer service will have access to the personally identifiable information of our customers, and all employees of Funsherpa (including our consultants) are required to sign confidentiality agreements.  We cannot guarantee that the security measures described herein (or any other security measures taken by Funsherpa) never will be defeated.  We suggest that you help safeguard your personally identifiable information by making sure the security icon is visible in your browser window when providing financial information to Funsherpa.

Children and Privacy

Funsherpa is not a website directed at children, and we have no intention of collecting personally identifiable information from children, particularly children under the age of 13.  Funsherpa may, from time to time, offer children’s “experiences” for purchase by adults.  Children under the age of 18 should not use this website unless supervised by a parent or guardian.  In the event that we become aware that a child under the age of 18 has provided us with personally identifiable information through the use of this website, we will delete that information and notify you via email.
